BELT SIZING CHARTS & FITMENT GUIDES

HOW WE MEASURE OUR DUTY BELTS

Because our duty belts come in a variety of styles, sizing can vary slightly between designs. To help you find the best fit, we’ve outlined detailed guides below that explain how each belt is measured and how to choose the right size for you.

Important: Your pant or waist size won't always match your belt size. A duty rig rides differently than everyday pants, so measure directly for an accurate fit. For a garrison belt, measure through your belt loops. For a Sam Browne belt, measure over the garrison belt you'll be wearing it with.

GARRISON BELTS (INNER DUTY BELTS)

Measure from the center adjustment hole to the end of the buckle, that will be the size.

SAM BROWNE BELTS (OUTER DUTY BELTS)

DUTYMAN® Same Browne Belts are labeled to match the size of inner belt they‘re worn over. If you wear a 34” inner belt, order a 34” outer belt to go with it, as we add an additional 2” to account for the under belt. If more gear is worn on the belt, you may want to go up a size.

RIVER BELTS

The River Belts 1111, 1121, and 1131 go up an extra size due to the design of the belt.

RANGER BELTS

The Ranger Belts 1711, 1721, and 1761 go up an extra size due to the design of the belt.

NYLON DUTY BELT AND BUCKLELESS LEATHER BELTS

Refer to the belt sizing charts below when selecting the best fitting Dutyman® belts that are sized from Small thru 3XL in nylon styles and X-Small thru 4XL in leather styles.
