Been searching for a compact double handcuff case and this one is a winner. Most double cuff cases out now are made to hold 1 hinged and 1 chain cuff. I had the Safariland 290 and got tired of how bulky it was for a pair of standard sized peerless chain cuffs. I had an in-custody ask me if I kept a in-n-out double double cheeseburger in there. Cons for the Dutyman, since its a soft leather construction, the snap can be difficult to close if the front slot is empty. Mine came pre-scuffed and I fixed it with some shoe polish before putting it on my duty belt. I know it will get scratched anyway that's why I did not ask for a replacement. But I like to have a cool backstory for the scars of my gear, not because it came like that out of the box.
